By the end of the orientation, participants will:
- Understand the basics of SI/M&E, including common language and frameworks.
- Understand the SI/M&E needs and key issues for participating agencies in a way that encourages linkages and harmonization.
- Understand the types of data and data systems that can be used by multiple agencies for indicator action planning.
- Be able to articulate the importance of applied evaluation studies as a necessary complement to monitoring.
- Understand and be prepared to act as a catalyst for coordination in support of the “3 ones” principle.
